please answer these questions….it would be a great help.am on an assignment…so help me do it really good.

1. what do u think about a Healthy diet?

2. Does Healthy balanced diet really exist?

3. do u know a good cheap substitute for Milk? and Meat?

4. do u eat keeping in mind the nutrients or just killing hunger or 3 times is enough?

5. is Nutritional diet necessary for u and ur health?

6. do u know some commonly held ideas about food..that carrots correct the eyesight back to normal. pregnant ladies who eat Pomegranate give birth to a fair (goraa) baby? spinach is best source of iron?

7. For ladies specially: do u eat for ur skin?

8. and do u eat keeping in mind all protiens,fats,carbohydrates,minerals, vitamins…or just ji balanced diet hay agar daalain…vegs, fruits, meat all is there in it?

    According to me healthy diet wo hai jis ko app ka stomach easily digest kar sakay yani ghar ka bana khana (daal or meat) aur fruits milk ka tarka laga dain. aur khana time to time kha lain. this is my point of view aur zaroori nahi app is se agree karain.

    2. No, healthy diet does not exist.

    3. Milk has not any subsitute, but meat can be replaced by vegs & daals.

    4. Only killing 3 time hunger to work on.

    5. I have seen many people who dont know about any nutrition but they are alive & healthy. So i dont think it is nesessary (mujhe khud b pata nahi hota k main kya kha raha hoon)

    6. Kadu khane se stomach ke garmi khatam hoti hai. (I am not sure ,i heard it from my mamoon )

    Agar mere jawab achay na lagain to plz forget. 😉 You might have asked by a doctor’s point of view but agar mujh mein itni sense hoti to ami ka khwab poora karta aur Accountant nahi balke Dr. hota 😦 . So ignore my stupid answers.

    8. No, i do not notice it. when i enter my college’s canteen, i forget every precaution & eat samosas, gol gappas & pepsi etc.

    3. Don’t have idea about milk, but pulses and beans are good substitute of meat. On a funnier note, can cream be a substitue for milk? It’s not my fault. The other day a host of a cooking show on TV was telling this. Ghar may doodh na ho, Oper say Mehmaan aa Jain … Meetha bana ho to Ghabrain nahi… She was saying something like this…. 😀

    4. Honestly speaking, I keep in mind the ‘taste’ to kill the hunger whenever i deem it necessary round the clock.

    6. About carrots it’s yes. And regarding pomegranade juice and color, it’s wrong. I think it depends on genes. And, Jaan ki aman paon to kuch urz karon? You don’t watch PTV. Havn’t you watched the advertisement “Qarshi ka Sharbat-e-Folad?” – Source of iron in food. lolz . Just joking.

    Once i read somewhere that it’s harder for human body to absorb iron from veges. So spinach can’t be too good in that case.

    7. No comment. It’sa biased question. I object.

    8. Nops. It’s a balanced combination and balanced in take according to the body requirements for proper growth.

    Now what do you say? See i don’t believe in robotic life. 😀

    1. A healthy diet does not make you feel sleepy/lazy. And it also helps in one’s phsycial and mental growth.
    2. No. But yes, all the veggies are healthy and balanced diet according to my Nani Maan. But they’re not according to me. And any halal thing we eat is healthy and balanced diet according to my maulvi brother.
    3. A milawat shuda milk.
    4. I rather eat for pleasure but since there’s no such option in the question, I eat to kill hunger.
    5. Yes, very necessary.
    6. Almonds make your memory stronger. Drinking milk first thing in the morning helps reducing the acne. Chewing *what do we call that long black thing with a ball on one side and that thing is also included in some tooth pastes?* helps reducing the pain of erupting wisdom tooth.
    8. The Mac Donald’s broucher states the fats and proteins in the meal, only then I ponder upon it, otherwise I don’t.

    I am a little over 69 years. Allah has been kind to bless me with good health. The secret is: content with whatever I get to eat to wear to live, etc. My food generally consists of vegetables and lentils (daalain) and little Mutton. I eat chicken once a week and beef occasionally. In winter, I take fish and shrimps / prawns (only good quality) once a week. Now to your questions.

    1, Healthy diet is: Don’t worry and be content what you get in stead of grudging others.

    2. Standard balanced diet does not exist because diet varies from person to person, time to time and from place to place. For example, you can eat lot of almonds and walnuts while in Kashmir but if you eat that amount in Lahore, Multan or Karachi then you had it. You can eat lot of pop corn in your young age but after age of 50 years excess of it may affect your stomach adversely

    3. There is no substitute for milk. Meat can easy be replaced with Maash, Moong aur chawal ki khichri.

    4. Never thought of nutrients but always cared for quality and taste. Do not kill hunger because I first drink a tumbler full of water and then eat leaving part of stomach empty.

    5. Every type of food has been made Nutritional by Allah

    6. Yes. Carrots are good for keeping your eye-sight good (I don’t say improving). Carrots are also good for general health. Green tea controls Cholesterol. Pomegranate has considerable iron content that is why pregnant women and persons with iron deficiency are advised to eat are pomegranate not for having goray children. Yes, spinach is a low cost source of iron not the best.

    7. I am not a woman but I know it from experienced women that natural food is best for the skin. If some thing is to be applied externally, fresh cream (mlayee) of natural milk is the best.

    8. No. Those who do this have rare chance to survive. If you eat vegetables, lentils (daalain), meat and fruit, all in small quantities, that should becalled a balanced diet

    oh n GH…yes internet says..that 1/4 cup of cream and i/4 cup of water..mix em well..and have milk:) but for poor cream is as expensive as milk..balkay zada…so not agood substitute.

    6. Taking Ispaghol with cold water helps in curing the loose motions and if situation is opposite than it can be cured by taking Ispaghol with luke warm water. It is a Sharai ilaaj.

    1. what do u think about a Healthy diet? I like the idea of healthy diet and all this but don’t like eating it … But I guess yes diet with optimal amount of MILK … Egg … Proteins and Vitamins and Fibre is must for health …!

    3. do u know a good cheap substitute for Milk? and Meat? Adopt a goat … raise it and drink the milk after some years slaughter it and enjoy meat too 😀
